The Area of the Damage
In most cases, a crack longer than three inches and a chip larger than 3/8 inch will require a full windshield replacement. There are, however, a few exceptions to this rule.

If your windshield cannot be repaired, then our glass specialists are more than capable of replacing the entire windshield. We use a process created by the Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) to replace every windshield:
First, we acquire a replacement windshield that meets or exceeds your vehicle's Original Equipment Equivalent (OEE) standards. Second, we carefully remove your windshield. Finally, we install your new windshield according to the requirements set forth by the AGSC. After the installation process is complete, there is a one-hour wait time to allow for complete curing of the adhesive to ensure a perfect seal when you leave.
Extra Protection
All of our windshield replacements are backed with our Windshield Protection Plan. With this, any chips or cracks that occur within a year of the initial installation will be repaired for free; if we cannot fix it, then we will pay for a new windshield pane.
Streamlined Insurance Claims
Most insurance carriers will help you pay for the damage to your windshield. In fact, the cost of windshield repair is usually fully covered. We always recommend you contact your insurer to determine what type of coverage you have for windshield damage prior to scheduling service.
