Meet the Team at Glass Doctor of Mechanicsburg, PA

Hello. My name is Chris Stevenson and I am the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Glass Doctor of Mechanicsburg, Hershey and State College. My wife, Vicki Stevenson who is the General manager, brought on board 3 years ago to help boost the glass shower program. I was previously in the home/car audio market as well as organized and installed DUI Breathalyzers for the state for over 20 years. I also ran a charity in memory of my brother to benefit kids with cancer that generated a quarter of a million dollars donated. Our goal is to make every experience for our customers at Glass Doctor one they will not just enjoy, but always remember and look forward to tell their friends and neighbors about. We strive to someday be a household name.

My name is Andy Matter and I’m the President / Owner of Glass Dr’s in Mechanicsburg, State College, Altoona, and Hershey PA. I grew up in a small farming community in central PA where faith, family, and hard work are engrained in each of us at a very young age. Growing up I enjoyed sports, hunting, camping, and being with friends and family. At the ripe age of 12 I started working small jobs at the local window plant, mowing grass, and helping others with odd jobs to start earning money. After high school I went to Shippensburg University and graduated with BSBA in Marketing / Business administration. Upon graduation I started working for MI Windows and Doors (this is the local window manufacturer referenced above). I moved to Alabama two days after completing my studies and spent the next 10 months in the deep south. From there I moved to Chicago to pioneer a new territory for MI and expand their reach into the Midwest. In 2003 I moved back to Central PA to be closer to my ailing Grandparents and continued in a sales role with MI. I met my future wife in 2005, was married in 2006, and started talking about kids by 2007. It was around this time that I realized I didn’t want to be an absentee father, as I was on the road about 200 nights a year. So, in 2008 I took on a position with a local window and door replacement company, which allowed me to stay in the field I love. Fast forward to 2018 and two beautiful daughters later, Glass Dr reached out and asked if we would be interested in opening a franchise. The timing wasn’t perfect, and we kicked around the idea for a while to make sure it would be a good fit. Through a confluence of events, my cousin Kyle and I decided that we wanted to have a marketable business when we were ready to retire. We reached back out to Glass Dr, and in 2019 we opened our first location and by 2024 we had three more territories, two more amazing business partners, and multiple new employees. I still enjoy spending time in the woods hunting and hiking, watching my girls grow into amazing young women and cheering them on in sports. The girls, my wife, and I live in Dillsburg with our two labs… God is good and life is pretty great!

Born and raised in central PA. I have two teenage daughters. My beautiful wife has served the country in the air force for over 20 years. Hobby’s include golf and big game hunting. Penn state graduate. Two dogs (Artie and Floyd) three cats (Luke, Lola, Luna). Hobbies include golf and annoying my wife and kids. I love the 49ers and Penn state sports, especially wrestling!

My name is Vicki Stevenson and I am the General Manager of Glass Doctor State College, Mechanicsburg and Hershey. I have been with Glass Doctor from the start in 2019. Before that I worked as an Inside sales manager for a window company for 22 years. My passion for exceptional customer service and years of experience in the window and glass industry was a perfect fit. I take pride in delivering efficient, reliable and professional service to all of our customers. I work along side my husband Chris who is Director of Strategic Partnerships. We have 2 children Kylie and Logan and 2 pups named CoCo and Piper. Outside of work I enjoy spending summers at our camp along the river.

I'm Brandon Fringer. I currently reside in Dillsburg with my beautiful wife and daughter. I prioritize exceptional craftsmanship to ensure pride in my work. I'm grateful to have a job which allows me to construct stunning pieces to help people's lives.
