We constantly see customers who get to the end of a bathroom remodeling project then are shocked about the price for a frameless shower.
So how can you lower the cost of your frameless shower? Plan ahead! Plan your shower design upfront and have an idea of what you are looking for, this will help our specialists best serve your interests. Having an idea of different shower designs will also help! At Glass Doctor of Virginia Beach our shower designs can fall in three main design types and price ranges.
Typically, Neo-Angle showers are the highest priced designs. A Neo-Angle glass shower is where the shower is built into a corner of a room and comes out a 45 degree angle from the walls. Due to the cumbersome challenges of bathroom space we often find ourselves installing this design.
A more "middle of the road" priced shower is a Door Next to a Notched Panel design that rests on a tub deck or knee-wall with a return panel. This is a very common design and looks great.
The lowest priced designs are just a Door or a Door / Panel. This design still provides a great look along with a reasonable cost.
Other money saving ideas include adding a tiled knee-wall to cut down on the amount of heavy glass this can sometimes help lower the cost of your new glass shower.
