Double Pane Window Replacement

Insulated glass uses air as an insulator between two or more panes of glass. A moisture-absorbing spacer is placed between the glass and the air between the panes is sometimes filled with argon or krypton gas to boost its insulating value. The entire unit is then sealed to keep moisture out.

In order for insulated glass windows to work effectively, the seal between the two panes must remain intact. If the seal breaks, you will start to see condensation or a milky appearance between the panes. Glass Doctor of Atlanta specialists will replace the glass so the IGU will work properly.
